Terms and Conditions

Terms for using Semalytic

Last updated: April 14, 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Semalytic, a semantic SEO analysis service operated from Poland. By creating an account, connecting an integration, running an analysis, or otherwise using Semalytic, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Semalytic on behalf of a company, agency, client, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Contact

You can contact Semalytic about these Terms at legal@semalytic.com.

3. The Service

Semalytic helps users analyze search performance, query data, content gaps, cannibalization, topical coverage, and related SEO signals. The service may integrate with third-party platforms such as Google Search Console and may process data that you authorize us to access.

SEO analysis is informational. Semalytic does not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue, conversions, or any specific business result.

4. Accounts and Access

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
  • You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account has been compromised, used unlawfully, or used in breach of these Terms.

5. Your Data and Integrations

You remain responsible for the data, websites, accounts, Search Console properties, and other materials you connect to Semalytic. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect those sources and allow Semalytic to process the data for the service.

You may disconnect integrations through the relevant account settings or third-party provider controls. Disconnecting an integration may limit or stop related features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Semalytic for unlawful, misleading, harmful, or abusive purposes.
  • Access, test, scan, or interfere with systems without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
  • Upload malware or attempt to bypass security or usage limits.
  • Use data from Semalytic to violate third-party rights or platform rules.
  • Share access credentials or resell access unless Semalytic permits it in writing.

7. Plans, Payments, and Taxes

If Semalytic offers paid plans, fees, billing cycles, included usage, renewal terms, and taxes will be shown at checkout, in your account, or in a written order. You authorize Semalytic and its payment providers to charge applicable fees using the payment method you provide.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by mandatory law or expressly agreed in writing.

8. Consumers and Withdrawal Rights

If you are a consumer under Polish law, you may have statutory rights, including information rights, complaint rights, and a right to withdraw from certain distance contracts within 14 days.

Where permitted by law, the right of withdrawal may not apply, or may expire, once digital content or a digital service begins with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that this may affect your withdrawal right. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under Polish or EU law.

9. Intellectual Property

Semalytic and its software, interface, design, content, documentation, trademarks, and related materials are owned by Semalytic or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you except for the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain rights to data and materials you provide. You grant Semalytic a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and analyze that data as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

10. Confidentiality

If non-public business, technical, or account information is exchanged through the service, each party will use reasonable care to protect it and will use it only for the purposes of providing or using Semalytic, unless disclosure is required by law.

11. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Semalytic available and useful, but the service may be updated, limited, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued. We may modify features, integrations, limits, or technical requirements from time to time.

12. Warranties and Liability

Semalytic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every business need.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Semalytic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or search rankings. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

13. Termination

You may stop using Semalytic at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay fees when due, or use the service in a way that could harm Semalytic, users, or third parties.

14. Complaints and Disputes

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint informally. Consumers may also have access to out-of-court complaint and redress options under Polish and EU law.

These Terms are governed by Polish law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the competent courts in Poland will have jurisdiction over disputes connected with these Terms or the service.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the service, by email, or by another appropriate method. Continued use of Semalytic after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
